What $1,600/Month Can Rent You Around Vancouver

Welcome back to Curbed Comparisons, a column that explores what one can rent for a set dollar amount in various Vancouver neighborhoods. Today's price: $1,600.


↑ Our search begins in a very central downtown location where this 600 square foot studio at Robson & Burrard rents for $1,600 per month. There is exposed brick, oak floors, and a dated but decent sized kitchen. Traffic noise at this centre ice location may be an issue depending on which way the units faces.


↑ Next up in Kits, this one bedroom, one bathroom suite on Bayswater Street rents for $1,600 per month. Just under 650 square feet, the suite is located in a new building which is quite rare for Kits. The kitchen appears modern and very, very white. Bonus points for the greenery views out the living room windows.


↑ Over in the Village on False Creek, this one bedroom, one bathroom suite rents for $1,600 per month. It is just over 600 square feet and has a pretty standard floor plan for suites in the Village. There are laminate floors, stainless steel appliances and a nice view of some communal garden space in the building.


↑ In Crosstown, this one bedroom, one bathroom suite in the Firenze building rents for $1,600 per month. The suite is 650 square feet and includes a den and balcony. There is new flooring, paint and window coverings.
