Vancouver's downtown library at Georgia and Homer Streets has been named one of the most beautiful libraries in the world, according to a recent survey from Travel + Leisure. Back in the day, the city held a design competition and ended up selecting starchitect Moshe Safdie who received a little criticism for the Colosseum inspired building.
