Concord Gets Approval for Two Rainbow Towers on Expo Blvd.

New, 2 comments

Local developer Concord Pacific has been given rezoning approval from Vancouver City Council for two residential towers joined together by three bridges over at 998 Expo Boulevard. Adding to the newly created neighbourhood False Creek Central, Arc Vancouver will consist of 620 units spread out over the two towers at about 30-storeys in height. Concord decided to change it up a bit with these towers by adding a rainbow of colour to the façade which is quite the change compared to the lookalike towers they are used to building. According to the hyped up Arc Vancouver promo video, False Creek Central is now a $1.3 billion neighbourhood which shouldn't surprise anyone considering the growing list of projects kicking off in the area, including the recent approval of Paragon's super wacky 'casino resort' development that everyone seems to have an opinion about. Concord's Arc Vancouver development will neighbour the casino project.
