The Commercial-Broadway Station will be getting a major $60 million upgrade just in time for the completion of the Evergreen Line in 2016. The station is one of Vancouver's busiest, serving 90,000 daily trips on the train and 60,000 bus trips per day. To assist with over capacity concerns, a new platform will be built which will have doors opening on both sides of the train. Oooh, sounds fancy.
