Say Goodbye To The Art Gallery's Centennial Fountain

The Centennial Fountain located on the north plaza of the Vancouver Art Gallery will be removed this fall as part of the super wacky $3.2 million resdesign of the plaza. The 16 foot marbled mosaic fountain will head off into storage until it can (hopefully) find a new home. According to some, the fountain "breaks up the space" and "lacks flow and an integrated design." Yeah, because Occupy protestors and annual 420 partiers really, really need flow and integrated design.
