A new rental building is being proposed for 450 Gore Avenue in Strathcona/Chinatown. The site sold awhile back and is currently sitting as a long abandoned gas station at the corner of Pender Street. The project, designed by Gair Williamson, shows retail at ground level which is a little surprising consider the area isn't really walker's paradise. If approved, the project could include up to 81 market rental units.
