Cornerspotter: Typical East Vancouver Street

New, 2 comments

Cornerspotter is the Curbed Vancouver feature in which we show you a historical photo taken somewhere in the city and you identify the location. Impress fellow Curbed readers with your knowledge by leaving guesses in the comments or send them to our tipline. We'll post the answer later this week.

This downtown intersection has been undergoing plenty of change compared to when this historical photo was taken back in 1981. Since then, the pocket of vacant land in between buildings has been developed for non-market housing. The building on the corner has gone through a complete refurbishment and has become a standard Friday night hot spot for 20-somethings in the area. Think you can guess what corner is pictured in this historical photo? Tell us in the comments section!
