Here's a project on Oak Street and West 14th Avenue that is going to public hearing in the next week. Located at 2975 Oak Street, the development is proposing to demolish the 14-units in the heritage building (while maintaining the facade), and building an additional 50 rental units in a new 10-storey tower. The Aquilini family bought the property back in April 2012 and because of the Heritage Revitalization Agreement within their development proposal, rezoning the property is not necessary. Stay tuned as we track the project.
