CornerSpotter: From Dirt Roads & Horses To Tourist Hotspot

New, 1 comment

Cornerspotter is the Curbed Vancouver feature in which we show you a historical photo taken somewhere in the city and you identify the location. Impress fellow Curbed readers with your knowledge by leaving guesses in the comments or send them to our tipline. We'll post the answer later this week.

Who knew this popular downtown tourist destination used to be speckled with horses, top hats and dirt roads? This photo was taken in 1888 and shows some of the same infrastructure that still exists today, though slightly revamped. Think you can guess what corner is pictured in this historical photo? Tell us in the comments section!
