What $1,500/Month Can Rent You Around Vancouver

Welcome back to Curbed Comparisons, a column that explores what one can rent for a set dollar amount in various Vancouver neighborhoods. Today's price: $1,500.

↑ Our search begins in Crosstown on Abbott Street where this one bedroom plus den is renting for $1,500 per month. At just 570 square feet, the space is rather teeny tiny. There is hardwood flooring in the living area and carpet (ugh) in the bedroom. Bonus points: The building has an indoor pool, sauna, and hot tub.

↑ Over in the Olympic Village, this one bedroom furnished loft style apartment is renting for $1,500 per month. There is a flex space that has been converted into a spacious walk in closet. It also has a nice little patio overlooking the Village and False Creek.

↑ Maybe this Fairview townhome needs some new paint slapped on the walls, but this one bedroom, one bathroom suite has a lot of potential. At 630 square feet, the kitchen appears spacious and living area is bright and open. There's a mix of carpet and hardwood and it's a ground level suite with a private entrance which includes some outdoor space.

↑ Over in Kitsilano we found this lovely looking two bedroom suite that is located on West Broadway. It is 750 square feet and appears bright and spacious. There is laminate and new tile flooring through out and a gas stove in the kitchen. The second bedroom only has an interior window so it likely wouldn't be feasible as a real bedroom, unless you're a vampire. There is also no laundry facilities in the building which is a huge negative.
