Local developer Onni has had its hands in the Steveston/Richmond market for quite some time now, mainly hoping council would finally rezone its Imperial Landing property to allow for a more expansive retail landscape in the area. Despite the current zoning rules that restrict retail to only maritime related businesses, Onni still went ahead and built six low rise rental apartment buildings on Bayview Street.
