Empire Field, the massive stretch of greenery located beside Playland, is inching closer to completion of an additional 6.8 hectares of park space into a brand new glorious community green space. The Empire Field will soon join together over 30 hectares in total and is expected to be ready to frolic in by the fall of 2014. [Vancity Buzz]
