Looking Back At What False Creek Could Have Been

While we like to show development updates often here on Curbed, sometimes it's fun to look back and see what our city could have been. There's a new exhibit happening at the Museum of Vancouver titled Vancouver Imagined: The Way We Weren't and we found this map/blueprint of False Creek that was drafted by hand by the planning department way back in 1987. In present day, Yaletown is nothing like the proposed plan and even Southeast False Creek was still zoned as industrial land. Oh how times have changed.
