What $2,200/Month Can Rent You Around Vancouver

Welcome back to Curbed Comparisons, a column that explores what one can rent for a set dollar amount in various Vancouver neighborhoods. Today's price: $2,200.

↑ Our search begins in Kitsilano with this top floor suite located in a restored heritage building. Nice. A large suite is hard to come by in Kits but this place is huuuuuge at 1,100 square feet. There are two bedrooms plus a den and original hardwood floors throughout. The building is located just off West 4th so it's close to all amenities yet still only three blocks from the beach.

↑ Next up, we found this two bedroom, two bathroom suite located in the Pacific Spirit complex close to UBC. It's located on the 3rd floor and is just over 850 square feet. The suite includes a ton of upgrades like the hardwood floors and luxury kitchen...because, you know, every twenty-something university student needs to cook those gourmet meals.

↑ Over in Yaletown we found this loft conversion suite that is just over 700 square feet. The suite is quite different than the typical cookie-cutter Yaletown apartments we're used to seeing with it's exposed brick and beams. There is in suite laundry, a high end kitchen, and some Hamilton Street views. Bonus points: there's a pretty dreamy common rooftop deck area.

↑ While we're pretty under whelmed with this Olympic Village suite, the location is certainly becoming one of the best spots for rentals these days. As with all suites in the area, this two bedroom place is modern and features all the high end appliances that are to be expected. It's 750 square feet and has two bedrooms, including a "flex room" which could be used as an office.
