With the recently approved community plan in the West End, we are convinced it will be the neighbourhood to watch for 2014. Case in point, Bosa Properties has teamed up with the Central Presbyterian Church located at 1155 Thurlow Street and has applied to rezone the site in hopes of a 22-storey rental housing tower. Plans also show retail and a new spot for the existing church. We're a little curious to see how many renters are going to jump at the chance to live above a church. Total proposed floor area is just over 160,000 square feet and if approved could add over 200 units to Vancouver's already record breaking rental inventory.
