What Does $3,000/Month Rent You Around Vancouver?

Welcome to Curbed Comparisons, a column that explores what one can rent for a set dollar amount in various Vancouver neighborhoods. Today's price: $3,000/month.

? This week we start our search in the False Creek at the Maynards Block building. This brand new 2 level 2BR/3BA townhouse has an open living and kitchen area making the space feel huge, well it is a relatively huge apartment at 1,290 square feet. It also has some outdoor space and is close to all amenities the Olympic Village has to offer.

? Over in Coal Harbour you can live in this fully furnished 2BR/1BA for $3,000/month. This place is 770 square feet and looks like a pretty standard Coal Harbour apartment. There is a small den that appears to be able to convert into a smaller bedroom. There is also a small balcony and outdoor public rooftop pool/hot tub so you can take in those amazing harbour views.

? In Gastown you can rent this unfurnished 2BR/2BA place. Just over 1,200 square feet, this place has tons of natural light and a seemingly large private rooftop patio in case you need more, which is rare in these parts of town. The kitchen is modern with stainless steel appliances.

? In Point Grey you can rent this entire house for $3,000. It has 3BR/2BA and is 1,500 square feet, plus an additional 1,100 square feet in the basement, which looks a little spooky. For the price though, you really can't beat this location in a great family neighbourhood and a charming little house with lots of character.
