Concert Properties announced today their proposed plans to build five new residential towers on the vacant parking lot formerly owned by Trans-Link, which is pretty much the last remaining available land in the area. The towers range in height from 12-storeys to 18-storeys and total floor area will be 624,522 square feet, 104,927 square feet of that will be set aside for non-market affordable rentals. There are also plans to include a 2.7 acre park area that will include bike paths and public space. The City of Vancouver's long term plan for the Southeast False Creek neighbourhood, which included 15,000 new residents, will be close to completion if this Concert development goes through.
