City Launches Talk Vancouver To Help People Complain More

[Via Vancity Buzz]
As if the City didn't get enough backlash for their proposed density plans across nearly every neighbourhood, Mayor Gregor Robertson announced a new way for residents to voice their opinions via an online site called Talk Vancouver. All you have to do is register and you can let the city know exactly how you feel about things going on in your neighbourhood. Who thought this would be a good idea? Now anonymous internet commenters don't even need to leave their apartment to complain about construction noise, or towers being built in their neighbourhood. Without regulation this could get out of hand quickly, but according to an Angus Reid Global Survey in March 2013, 70% of British Columbians polled said they wished there was an easier way to voice their opinions.
