Neighbours are angry at the lack of public consultation regarding the city's decision to turn a Ramada hotel on East Hastings Street into temporary social housing. More than 200 residents attended an open house at the hotel to hear the city's proposal but shortly after the meeting began, residents voiced their outrage and security was called to tame the crowds.
