The Hollywood Theatre has recently been at the hands of a developer who has stated plans to turn the heritage site into a two storey gym. Good news for residents who don't need a new gym: council has granted a 75 day "freeze" on any development plans so that the city can work with the developer to strategize ways to save the iconic theatre.
