Cambie Redevelopment Site Set To Go Before Council

The mega redevelopment plans for the 57th and Cambie inches forward as the proposal is set to go before City Council in late January, following will be the submission of the rezoning application. City Council will decide if the addition of 3,000 new condominiums will proceed on the four block site located at the Pearson-Dogwood site. However, the development is more than just a string of residential towers. Plans include a massive enclosed park area with a community garden and walking paths. There will also be a range of affordable housing options. The development is also proposing a new Sky Train stop along the Canada Line.
