Prepare For Density: West End Community Plan Approved

After last night's city council meeting, the delightfully colourful (and dramatically denser) West End community plan has been approved. Over the next 30 years, it is estimated that the West End population will increase by about 10,000 people. The West End is already one of Vancouver's most populated neighbourhoods, which of course means the approval of the community plan was met with hesitation from the locals. High rise towers now have approval to build on major arterial routes which will cause traffic nightmares and population overload. Stay tuned for more!
