Little Free Library

Giving new meaning to the definition of a public library, these appropriately named Little Free Library are book sharing shelves that have been spotted in various locations across East Vancouver. There are no locks or security, though it has been reported that theft or vandalism do not seem to be an issue. If approved by the Vancouver Park Board, these hutches could be popping up in parks and community centres all over Vancouver. [Vancity Buzz]
