Rezoning has been approved at 777 – 795 West 41st Avenue which may soon be home to the Aperture Building designed by Arno Matis Architecture. The project will consist of just under 100,000 square feet of residential space with some commercial at ground level. There will be production space for artists and live/work studios. There will also be water gardens and courtyards. Aside from the noteworthy amenities, the design of the building has perked the interests of the Urban Design Panel and potential residents alike with its unique Jenga-inspired shape and irregular lines.
